VITA is a new disaster preparation kit designed for people intimated by unfamiliar and complex survival kits. With the shape of the vest, we aim to be accessible, efficient, ergonomic and introduce a comprehensive guide to the users. It will change the supplies, material of the vest, and even where we recommend locating the kit. Customize your kit by changing color and putting your medical information.
Place the kit with the placement module that we provide with the kit. You can hang, role, put anywhere your VitaVest but we recommend just the place. For instance, we recommend putting your kit under the desk for the California earthquake kit. Hide, Wear, and Survive.

Our interviews were mainly conducted to find the reason behind the low preparedness. Mostly what we got was because of the complicity of the current products.
With the research of supplies that people need for survival, what current products have, and after the interview with earthquake expert, all of the actual dimension of supplies has been listed out to build the vest itself.
Not with just a handful of sketches and building architectures, we checked the feasibility in terms of mobility, weight, and the volume of the vest for different body sizes.
Vita’s vest and an app are user-tested with various people and configured the best user experience of ergonomics. We also made the ecosystem in which the vest and the app can work independently.
VITA’s roadmap starts from California to the whole nation and ultimately to the global market with frequent natural disasters. On top of that, we are looking forward to customizing the vest based on the regional characteristics and making local production lines around the globe.
